PRIVACY POLICY

GridHard ("we", "our", "the app") is a fitness challenge app for iOS. We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how we handle your data.

DATA WE COLLECT

Analytics data. We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used. This includes:

Anonymous device identifier (not linked to your identity)
App usage events (e.g. challenge completed, media uploaded, templates shared)
General device info (device model, OS version)

This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Data you provide. The app stores:

Your first name (entered during onboarding)
Challenge completion progress
Photos and videos you upload as proof

WHERE YOUR DATA IS STORED

All your personal data (name, progress, photos, videos) is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. We do not have access to your iCloud data. Apple manages this storage under their own privacy policy.

DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

We do not collect your email address, phone number, or location
We do not track you across other apps or websites
We do not sell or share your data with third parties
We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA)

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Firebase Analytics (Google) — used for anonymous usage analytics. Firebase Privacy Policy

Apple CloudKit — used for optional iCloud sync of your progress and media. Apple Privacy Policy

DATA RETENTION

Your data remains on your device and in your iCloud account as long as you use the app. Deleting the app removes all local data. To remove iCloud data, go to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage > GridHard.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

GridHard is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
